Russian president Vladimir Putin has visited Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko for bilateral talks, bringing fear about whether Belarus will join the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
President Lukashenko has not confirmed or denied any intention to join the war but is hopeful the West will resume talks with Russia about common security and the future world order.
This meeting follows Moscow launching missiles on Ukraine’s capital, causing critical infrastructure damage.
