"The situation in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, is extremely difficult," he said. While Belarus has so far asserted it would not deploy its troops in the war, President Lukashenko has allowed Russia to use its territory for attacks on Ukraine.
