Pada April 22-23 lalu, Komisi Kateketikal Keuskupan Pulau Pinang telah menganjurkan retret untuk para Katekis yang bertema, “Mewartakan Yesus sebagai Harapan Dunia” di Basilika Kecil, Sta Anna.

Prelatus itu juga mengakui, pelayanan dalam bidang kateketikal tidak memberikan glamor sebaliknya melibatkan doa dan pembinaan kerohanian sepanjang tahun. Uskup Sebastian juga memetik kata Sri Paus Fransiskus sempena perhimpunan para Uskup sedunia di Roma baru-baru ini, Bapa Suci meminta para gembala Katolik agar kanak-kanak di tempatkan di tengah-tengah naratif Gereja dan kerajaan Tuhan.
