Health unit launches an online survey to get input and opinions from residents to inform its new strategic plan

Greater Sudbury residents who have an opinion about public health are invited to step up and say how they believe the health unit should carry out its work in the next three to five years.

René Lapierre, chair of the PHSD Board of Health, said the board has already talked with various community leaders on what public health priorities should be, but the board also wants to hear from the public. “Since April, we have engaged with members of the Board of Health, Public Health staff, and some community partners to update the Strategic Plan, and now we want to hear from community members and other partner agencies,” he added.

“Public Health provides a wide range of public health programs and services, and the Strategic Plan is the blueprint that outlines how that work gets done in communities, with residents, and with partner agencies,” said Sutcliffe.
