GLACE BAY, N.S. — The provincial and municipal governments will spend $1.5 million to replace culverts in Glace Bay to support climate change resilience and flood management in the community.
“This investment will reduce flooding risk to 43 properties and will provide a significant benefit to emergency management for Glace Bay.”“Climate change is a harsh reality, and it’s becoming more and more evident each year,” said Ken Tracey, Dist. 9 councillor for the CBRM in a press release.
