“We will work with Health P.E.I. on recruitment. I think being connected to a medical education program will facilitate recruitment, not only here at the university (but) other areas across the province,' said Greg Keefe, interim president of UPEI.

“I think this is a great project for our future and will give the city and the university more diversity and will be a future joint project with the private sector, which I think is important for our economy," MacLeod told the SaltWire Network on Nov. 1. The site plan shows a new parking lot with 127 standard spaces to be constructed north of the school of medicine.Keefe said the clinic aims to service about 10,000 people.
