Ms Rae claims it would be a different story if the protest was for humanitarian aid for innocent Palestinian civilians. “What are they there for? If they are saying please can we send humanitarian aid to the innocent Palestinians who are caught up in there – I’m all for that,” she said.“What we have to remember is while everyone who is a member of Hamas is a terrorist, not everybody who is in Palestine is a member of Hamas.
“How as human beings do we respond to a proposal of genocide of a group of people who have no part to play in this?”
