Prominent Calgary businessman John Torode pleads guilty to impaired driving in head-on crash yyc
“The collision was caused because the accused was driving the wrong way on the highway,” Perrin said.“Everyone involved in this accident is very lucky to be alive,” Perrin said.Defence counsel Ian Savage said Torode, 73, has no recollection of the crash and has no connection to Okotoks or any explanation why he was in that area.“It is a mystery to him.”
Savard said she is still suffering the physical effects of her injuries more than 2½ years after the crash.
