IPOH: Police have opened an investigation paper on a man who alleged that a senior police officer at the Ipoh district police headquarters refused to accept his complaint regarding illegal moneylenders.
"The case is being investigated under Section 500 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 . ACP Yahaya said the man came to the Sentral police station and introduced himself as a representative of a non-governmental organisation in order to seek advice from the police regarding the act of taking down various posters advertising moneylenders around Ipoh.
