FARMINGTON — A South Weber man who assaulted a school bus driver through the window and threatened to shoot everyone on the bus has been sentenced to two years of probation, as well as a stint in a mental health program.
In that case, Bambrough was sentenced to one to five years in the Utah State Prison on a count of aggravated assault, a third-degree felony. Williams suspended the prison term, and ordered that Bambrough complete the Davis County Mental Health Court Program.Bambrough was arrested in September 2022 "He told him to get out so he can kill him. He tried to pull away and the male individual told him he was going to go get a gun to kill him and whoever was on the bus," a police affidavit states.
Bambrough then approached the officer with an electric guitar and electric hedge trimmer and ignored commands to drop the items and had to be forcibly detained.
