The Police Regional Office in Western Visayas ( PRO 6 ) conducted a 24-hour campaign, arresting 41 individuals with warrants from 6 a.m. of January 7 to 5:59 a.m. of January 8, 2025. Authorities said that four of those taken into custody were classified as most wanted persons (MWP), while 37 were tagged as other wanted persons (OWP).
PRO 6 Director Brigadier General Jack Wanky commended the unified efforts of local communities and different law enforcement agencies in ensuring the success of the operation. “These accomplishments signify the PRO 6’s strong commitment to account for the remaining wanted persons in the region. Their arrest will give justice to their victims and to the victims’ families,” Wanky said.
