THUNDER BAY — The French-language public school board of Northern Ontario – Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l"Ontario – has appointed the first principal of Thunder Bay's first French-language public school.

In announcing her appointment Tuesday, the board said the Thunder Bay resident brings a solid background in education to the job, with more than 15 years in the school system, including experience as a vice-principal, educational consultant and teacher.
