Prince William left diners in south London shocked after making a surprise appearance behind the stovetop of a food truck.

The 41-year-old royal wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, stepping inside the truck to cook up the burgers and then serve them to the awaiting diners.

“I was shell-shocked, like I froze,” one diner told the Sorted Food team after seeing Prince William. The short clip posted to the royal family’s YouTube channel showed the making of the burgers, which were vegan patties comprised of fresh veg, potato, spices, and coriander.
