Ryder Green of Prince George made 37 saves in goal for B.C., with his team outshot 39-28 in the game.In other quarterfinal results Thursday, Saskatchewan beat Nova Scotia 7-2, Ontario topped New Brunswick 5-2 and Quebec defeated Alberta 3-1.Earlier Thursday, B.C. became the first province ever to sweep the medal podium in a biathlon event at Canada Games, locking up the top three finishes in the female individual event at Mark Arendz Provincial Ski Park in Brookvale, P.E.I.
Hanson clocked 7:53.71 and was just ahead of his 11th-place Fort St. John Elks clubmate Matthew Mitchell and 15th-place Nicolas Guliov of Fort St. John .Kieran Hanson of Fort St. John did not race the 5,000.
