The Blazers got the game winning goal with seven second remaining in the game
The Prince George Cougars five game winning streak ended after dropping a 5-4 heartbreaker to the Kamloops Blazers, Saturday at the Sandman Centre.
Ondrej Becher led the way offensively for the Cougars, notching two goals and an assist, while Cole Dubinsky and Koehn Ziemmer also added singles. The Cougars got one back when Cole Dubinsky ripped home a short-handed tally to get the Cats within one after 20 minutes. In the second, the Cougars found the equalizer just under five minutes in when Ondrej Becher put one by goaltender Matthew Kieper to tie the game.
