Prince George Chamber of Commerce highlighting accomplishments of young professionals
The Prince George Chamber of Commerce is on the lookout for the city’s movers and shakers, people making a difference to improve their businesses and make the city a better place to live.
“First of all, it’s acknowledging the work they do, the fresh ideas they have and the valuable contributions they bring, it just reinforces the notion that age is not a barrier. They are making an impact regardless of their young age, so giving them that recognition, I think can build their resume up. Celebrating their success can help attract them to other organizations if they’re on the hunt for a new job or a promotion.
Formerly known as the Top 40 Under 40, when the chamber used to select 40 individuals all featured in a printed magazine, the selection list has been paired down to 10 or 15 individuals, whose profiles will be posted next to a feature photo on the chamber website. Nominations are being accepted through the month of June at the Top Figures Under 40 selection website.
