Sepp Kuss’ lead cut to eight seconds in Jumbo-Visma top threePrimoz Roglic won a gruelling mountain stage 17 of Vuelta a España ahead of his teammate, as their Jumbo-Visma colleague, Sepp Kuss, retained the overall leader’s jersey by eight seconds.
Roglic attacked heading into the final three kilometres, but Vingegaard and Kuss stayed with him as the clouds rolled in. All southbound traffic has been affected with as many as all four lanes closed while emergency services respond to the incident. Drivers are being urged to use the Harbour Tunnel as aerial footage shows traffic backed up all the way to the Lane Cove Tunnel. “The Harbour Bridge is closed citybound due to a multi-vehicle crash on the deck of the bridge,” Live Traffic Sydney said in a tweet just before 8am. There are no reports of any injuries at this stage.
