Daniel Andrews is set to embark on a trade mission to China this week to further strengthen Victoria’s ties with its biggest trading partner.
Although details about the trip are scarce, the Victorian Premier will be seeking to improve relations with the state’s biggest trading partner.
A spokesperson for the government said visits such as this further strengthen Victoria’s ties on the global stage.“Since coming to government we’ve strengthened our ties with Victoria’s largest trading partner,” the spokesperson told The Age. “Official international visits by members of the Andrews Labor government strengthen our state’s global ties and create lasting benefits for all Victorians.”
