The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has issued an advisory warning the public about unauthorized Facebook pages impersonating the agency. These pages are disseminating exam-related information, which may not be accurate or reliable.
THE Professional Regulation Commission ( PRC ) has warned the public about bogus Facebook pages that are allegedly managed by the agency and are making announcements regarding various licensure examinations. In an advisory, the PRC emphasized that the public should not rely on unauthorized websites or social media pages when seeking exam-related information.' PRC does not authorize any Facebook account other than the officially listed pages,' said the agency.
'The public is advised to refrain from engaging with unauthorized websites or Facebook pages,' it added. The PRC clarified that it cannot be held accountable for the accuracy, veracity, or content of any information provided by these unauthorized sources. 'Furthermore, PRC is not responsible for and expressly disclaims all liability for damages of any kind arising from the use, reference to, or reliance on any information contained on these unauthorized sites and pages,' it stated. The PRC reiterated that all official announcements should only be sourced from the PRC’s official website: https://prc.gov.ph/, PRC’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/professionalregulationcommission/, and PRC's X handle: @PRC_main.
