The Bureau of Fire Protection-Davao , Davao City Water District , and Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office are closely coordinating the supply of drinking water at the evacuation centers in Davao de Oro.
Based on the report of RDRRMC as of 7 a.m. of Sunday, March 12, 2023, there are 70 quake-affected barangays in Davao de Oro with 6,720 families or 31,120 individuals. Of the total number families, 1,826 families or 7,923 individuals are housed at the evacuation centers. Last week, DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, together with Governor Dorothy Gonzaga, among other officials, led the distribution of financial and food aid to affected families in several barangays in Andap, New Bataan; Manat in Nabunturan; Panoraon; New Leyte in Maco, and Paloc in Maragusan.
RDRRMC also reported that as of 7 a.m. of Sunday, March 12, 2023, the earthquake events count of the series of tremors in Davao de Oro was 1,468; 234 were plotted and 33 were felt with magnitude ranging from 1.4 to 5.9.
