“If both EV and heat pump adoption rapidly expand, Canada could start closing the gap to what’s needed for the green economy,” he said in the report. “But policy has a role to play in making that happen faster.”Article contentin the United States as an example. The report also warned that the U.S climate bill has the potential to widen the gap if Canada does not adjust its policies accordingly.
