KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Bhd, in collaboration with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), has launched the Malay Sultanate Coins special stamp collection at an event held at the Museum and Art Gallery BNM.
The collection features four different Malay Sultanate coins; Duit Syiling Perak from Kedah, Timah from Melaka, Emas from Johor, and Emas from Kelantan, which were prominent in trade since the 12th century.
"The complete stamp folder set retails at RM59.50 each, while the three stamps and Miniature Sheet are priced at 50 sen , RM1.30 and RM5.00 respectively,” it said in a statement Thursday . All items are available for purchase at General Post Offices and Philatelic Bureaus nationwide beginning Thursday. - Bernama
