Former Vatican Press Officer Joanne Bergamin recounts Pope Benedict XVI giving every person “100 per cent of his love and attention”.
“It was absolutely incredible and again a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, really only divine providence could have put me there,” Ms Bergamin told Sky News host James Morrow,
“I just happened to be there in that short period when Pope Benedict visited the offices; we were all as excited as kids as his car was coming up the driveway to enter the office.
