Police service dog Natz aids in arrest
With the help of a tracking dog, Prince George RCMP arrested a suspect following a break and enter Sunday morning at the College Heights Plaza.
Called to the scene at 7 a.m., police found a broken window and signs of a disturbance inside one of the stores. From there, police service dog Natz tracked a suspect to nearby bushes, RCMP said, and noted the apprehension was made within 40 minutes of the call. The suspect, who is known to police, was released on an undertaking with a future court date. Charges remain pending further investigation and the suspect's name was not provided.
