Police at a nearby station heard the crash and responded straight away, however when they got to the scene the occupants of the vehicle had fled.When police arrived at the scene of the crash the occupants of the vehicle had fled.
Half an hour later at about 2am, emergency services were called to a house in Balgownie, responding to reports that a 12-year-old boy had suffered serious injuries.A crime scene has been established at the home, and police are currently investigating if the boy’s death is linked to the crash in Wollongong.More to come...
