Police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann say they DID recover several objects during last week's search of a Portuguese reservoir. Brett_McLeod 9News MORE:

German prosecutors confirmed that the items will be evaluated but said it was too early to be sure if they were linked to the child's disappearance.

"A previously precisely defined area along the reservoir was completely searched for possible evidence," they said in a statement.German prosecutors said it was too early to be sure if the items were linked to Madeleine McCann's disappearance. "A number of items were seized as part of the operation. These will be evaluated in the coming days and weeks.
