A 22-year-old man is dead, and police are deeming his death suspicious as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers were called to the Mayor Avenue and Newtown Road area yesterday around 5:00 p.m. and found a 22-year-old man with serious injuries. Police are treating the man’s death as suspicious and the Chief Medical Examiner, and a Major Case Management Team are involved in the investigation.People who are having trouble coping with the impacts of such a traumatic event are encouraged to contact the RNC Mobile Crisis Support Team at 729-8000 or seek out mental health supports by calling 811.
