Bohol police apprehended a high-value individual suspected of being a major source of illegal drugs in the province.
Police in Bohol confiscated illegal drugs worth P13.7 million during a buy-bust operation on Friday, January 10, 2025, in Dauis. The arrested suspect, Jessie Baginang, 26, is believed to be a major source of the illegal drugs supply in the province. The Provincial Intelligence Unit seized 2,020 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P13,736,000. Baginang was identified by a drug personality arrested in Cortes on July 20, 2024.
Police Brigadier General Dionisio Bartolome commended the Bohol police for their achievement and said that the operation was part of their anti-illegal drug strategy. Charges under Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 will be filed against Baginang
