SWAT police are investigating whether the body found inside a white van in Torrance, California is linked to the suspect of a mass shooting in the city of Monterey Park, Los Angeles.
Police in the US have found a body while searching for the suspect involved in a mass shooting in the city of Monterey Park, Los Angeles. The tragic shooting unfolded on Saturday night when police were informed of shots being fired inside a ballroom venue in Monterey Park, which killed at least 10 people and left an additional 10 injured.
A group of heavily armed SWAT officers have smashed into the glass window of the vehicle to search the car, which is believed to be linked to the suspected shooter. But Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna told reporters on Sunday "we don't know" if the body found inside the van was the suspected shooter.
