Two people have been hospitalised with stab wounds and a 16-year-old boy is in custody following an alleged stabbing west of Brisbane overnight. 9News
A 16-year-old boy is in custody and is assisting police with inquiries.
Police today gave an update on the incident at a home at Normanton Close. Rosewood, about 60km south west of Brisbane.Emergency services were called to the property at about 10.30pm yesterday, where they found the 39-year-old mother and an 11-year-old daughter with stab wounds to the abdomen. Detective Inspector David Briese said they underwent surgery for major injuries and remained in a critical condition in hospital.A teenage boy was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
