Police confirm child’s bite marks caused by children of similar age
Police advise the public not to speculate and share the post of a child with bite marks at a nursery in Putrajaya because it could cause disharmony in the community and interfere with police investigations. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, April 8, 2023.
Putrajaya district police chief ACP A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the matter was confirmed by medical personnel after the child was referred to Putrajaya Hospital for treatment. He said an investigation paper had been opened under Section 31 of the Child Act 2001, and a check with the Social Welfare Department found that the nursery was registered and had a valid licence.
