JOHOR BARU, Aug 16 — The police have completed their investigations into the gang assault case where a 15-year-old boy was allegedly attacked by a group of secondary school students in Taman Bistari Indah here last week.
Johor Baru South police chief Assistant Commissioner Raub Selamat said police have completed investigations into the case under Section 147 of the Penal Code for rioting, The motive for the attack is believed to stem from jealousy as one of the suspects was unhappy as the victim had befriended his girlfriend.
Last Wednesday, a group of school-going teenagers had allegedly assaulted a 15-year-old boy in a recreation area in Taman Bistari Indah here at 3pm.
