AMPANG: Police here have arrested five men and two women in connection with breaking into a house in Taman Permata.
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak said the robbers had broken into a house in Taman Permata at about 3.45am on May 22.
"The house owner noticed the robbers in the house and shouted at them, prompting them to flee the scene with the loot. We also discovered signs of forced entry at a door to the kitchen," added ACP Mohamad Farouk in a statement on Sunday . He also said that mobile phones, laptops, an Allen key, a Toyota Alphard and two motorcycles which were reported stolen as well as two other motorcycles belonging to the suspects and a police uniform were seized.
