Police say a woman was thrown from her car in Gunnedah by youths before they sped off and later collided with another car that had also been reported stolen.
Police say a woman was thrown from her vehicle and onto the ground by youths — one wielding a knife — in a carjacking that led to a crash overnight.
Police said two people stole the woman's Holden Commodore as she reversed out her driveway in Bloomfield Street, Gunnedah, at about 3:30am in New South Wales' north-west. Three hours later, at 6:30am, officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Stock and Bridge streets, where they found the Holden Commodore had collided with a Ford Focus.
