A bug in the latest Pokemon Scarlet and Violet update is reportedly causing save files to be deleted.
It appears that simply updating the game to the latest version doesn’t cause issues on its own – the issues reportedly only emerge when connecting the game to Pokemon Go.
Although it could be adviused that players don’t update to the latest version if they haven’t yet, players who choose not to update are unable to use online features such as battles and Tera Raids. VGC has reached out to Nintendo for comment on this story and will update it should we receive any new information.
