Conservative Party of Canada Leader Pierre Poilievre offered Sudbury conservatives plenty of red meat during a rally at the Radisson Hotel on Thursday evening
Coming out of Thursday night’s rally at Sudbury’s Radisson Hotel, there’s no denying Pierre Poilievre is a Conservative.
With Northern Ontarians depending more on fuel for travel and heat than those in other areas of the country, he said the carbon tax will hit harder here. Poilievre pledged to reform clawbacks associated with exceeding tax brackets, “so you bring home more of each dollar you earn and hard work once again pays off in this country. ... We should be allowing people to earn their full potential.”
Although billed as being open to everyone, two outspoken Poilievre opponents were kicked out of Thursday’s rally.
