Anthony Albanese has offered up a challenge to Emmanuel Macron ahead of the Matildas taking on France in the FIFA Women's World Cup quarter-finals.
The Matildas will take on Les Bleues in Brisbane on Saturday night in a game that will be closely watched by Mr Macron and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
The move would be in a similar vain to agreements often put in place between the premiers of Queensland and New South Wales for the rugby league State of Origin.
