PUTRAJAYA: Plans for the digitalisation of vocational driving licences are in the works, says Anthony Loke.
The Transport Minister said the Public Service Vehicle and Goods Driving Licence would eventually go digital as part of the ministry's push to eventually digitalise the nation's transport ecosystem.
"Eventually everything will be digitalised," he told reporters after attending a PSV ehailing licence handover ceremony at the ministry's office here Tuesday . "We plan to coordinate with ehailing service providers on the potential of delivering the licence to riders without needing them to personally collect them from Road Transport Department counters," he said.
