A proposed $100 million surf park in Perth is one step closer to pumping out waves, as the state's environmental watchdog rules it does not require further assessment.
After conducting its own investigations, the watchdog agreed with the minority.
"The vegetation has been impacted by historical clearing and ongoing degrading processes leading to large proportion of weeds and limited canopy connectivity.The land was not deemed high quality foraging habitat for the birds. The facility is expected to include bars and restaurants, accommodation, function spaces and retail stores.
