The event will see teams from across Canada and internationally compete, featuring 15 teams on the World Curling Federation Order of Merit. This event is one of six tournaments held during the Grand Slam.
“Curling is about to deliver a big boost for Pictou County this November – new tourism opportunities, new business connections, and a chance to shine on the world stage. It’s wonderful to see international sporting events bringing positive economic results to this beautiful corner of the country,” said Hutchings in the press release.
