Menteri Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup Salahuddin Ayub berkata tindakan undang-undang akan diambil ke atas mana-mana pihak yang didapati membuat perihal dagangan palsu mengenai kandungan, jenis atau nama di bawah Seksyen 5 Akta Perihal Dagangan 2011. Beliau berkata mana-mana pihak yang didapati melakukan kesalahan di bawah Seksyen 5 Akta Perihal Dagangan 2011 boleh dikenakan penalti iaitu denda sehingga RM100,000 atau penjara tidak melebihi tiga tahun atau kedua-duanya manakala syarikat boleh didenda sehingga RM250,000.
