AFL: Collingwood celebrated Scott Pendlebury's 400 game milestone with a hard fought win over Carlton.

Collingwood star Jordan De Goey has been ruled out for the remainder of 2024 due to a tendon-related hamstring injury.

De Goey seen on the bench after being subbed out of Saturday night’s clash “I’ve just been told it’s high-grade. Obviously, it’s not great for him,” Collingwood coach Craig McRae said on Saturday night.Collingwood is set to provide a more in depth injury report on Monday, though De Goey was the only casualty from the scintillating win over Carlton in Scott Pendlebury’s 400th game.

Cerra has already missed eight games this year due to ongoing hamstring setbacks in a tough season for the 24-year old. The Demons confirmed May had sustained rib fractures following a collision with Laitham Vandermeer in the second term that caused the 32-yer old to be subbed out of the match. The two-time All-Australian backman missed one game earlier this season after fracturing his ribs in the club’s Round 2 win over Hawthorn.
