Instagram-worthy lights displays and holiday entertainment are all part of the fun.
The museum's Heritage Christmas celebrations are underway, and you can stop in daily to check out lights and activities for the season.
Admission is free for the festive celebrations, which have the 10-acre village blanketed in holiday light displays. You can take part in a bird-themed scavenger hunt, including some larger-than-life eco-sculptures, and enjoy a variety of holiday entertainment each day while exploring the traditions of Christmas past in the 1920s-era village. You can even visit with Father Christmas.
Heritage Christmas continues until Jan. 2 — check it out for yourself, or get a sneak preview here from photographer Jennifer Gauthier's visit on Sunday, Dec. 11.Follow Julie MacLellan on Twitter @juliemaclellan.
