Taekwondo Delivers Gold and Silver Medals
Taekwondo produced a fruitful day for the Philippines. Jeus Yape won the gold medal in the mixed individual virtual taekwondo event, while Kurt Barbosa and Tachiana Mangin finished runner-up in the men's 58kg and women's -49kg categories, respectively.
The jins had already secured two other medals earlier. Juliana Candelaria won silver in the women's individual poomsae, and Yape took bronze in the men's individual poomsae.
These results added to the Philippines' overall taekwondo output and helped push the national tally higher on the day of competition.
