There were also 15 new deaths due to the disease. The Philippines' death toll from COVID-19 is now at 719. Health Undersecretary Ma. Rosario Vergeire said there are indications that the country is "flattening the curve" of COVID-19 infections. "So ito ay naging magandang indikasyon sa atin at nakakapagsabi na ngayon ang ating mga eksperto na nag-uumpisa na tayong makapag flatten ng curve," Vergeire said in an interview with DZMM Teleradyo.
