A Philippine police colonel was killed in the collision of an American Airlines jet and a US Army helicopter in Washington, D.C. Colonel Pergentino Malabed, who was on official travel, was one of 67 fatalities in the crash.
THE Philippine National Police confirmed on Friday, January 31, 2025, that a police colonel was among the 67 fatalities in the collision of an American Airlines Bombardier jet and an Army Black Hawk helicopter in Washington, D.C.In a press conference, PNP Chief of the Public Information Office Colonel Randulf Tuaño announced the tragic loss of Colonel Pergentino Malabed, chief of the Supply Management Division of the PNP Directorate for Logistics.
