There is no way Treasurer Jim Chalmers will renew Philip Lowe's contract, argues Sydney radio host Ben Fordham.

Appearing on the first episode of Sharri Markson's new show on Sky News Australia, the host of 2GB Breakfast said there was no way Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Treasurer Jim Chalmers would stand by the Reserve Bank Governor, given the controversy over his “embarrassing” interest rate predictions.“There’s no way in the world that your special guest today, Jim Chalmers, is going to tie himself to Philip Lowe beyond September.
