The Regina Pats star from North Vancouver, B.C., finished the Western Hockey League season with 71 goals and 72 assists for 143 points in 57 games to lead all Canadian Hockey League players in scoring.Centre Mathieu Cataford of the Halifax Mooseheads is 30th among North American skaters, joining Mooseheads teammates, defenceman Dylan MacKinnon and forward Markus Vidicek .
Cape Breton Eagles winger Cam Squires is 56th, Drummondville Voltigeurs forward Tyler Peddle of Antigonish 76th, Saint John Sea Dogs centre Cole Burbidge of Falmouth 110th and Acadie-Bathurst forward Joseph Henneberry of Halifax 119th. Michigan freshman Adam Fantilli, a teammate of Bedard’s on Canada’s 2023 world junior hockey championship squad which won gold in Halifax, is ranked second among North American skaters.
