The Perpetual Help Community Cooperative, Inc. (PHCCI) has committed PHP9 million to its community development program in Negros Oriental. The cooperative, following the Cooperative Code of 2008, allocates a portion of its net surplus to community initiatives. PHCCI recently distributed PHP2 million in relief goods to residents affected by the eruption of Mt. Kanlaon and plans to implement projects like traffic lights, ceiling fans for churches, and solarization across the province.
