Even he as dons his Riviera tuxedo and celebrates his first year in office, Kramer is keenly aware of potential disruptions facing the festival:RELATED:Although new to the Hollywood hierarchy, Kramer is a lifelong film nerd and plans to see as many as 10 movies during the festival, as well as mingling on the party circuit.
A Maryland native, Kramer graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and built a reputation as a skilled fundraiser for education and the arts before recruitment by the Academy. At the Oscar show, he was a tense presence in the audience, locked on a text chain with his backstage producers.
